K9 Demo Wows PAL Children

K9 Demo for the Police Athletic League's Holiday Camp!

Key  West Police Sergeant Sean Brandenburg and his canine partner Wind showed the PAL holiday campers that a police dog is a hard-working dog. About 20 children are participating in the Police Athletic League’s camp, directed by Tez Waters. The students had the opportunity to see the amazing relationship between Sergeant Brandenburg and Wind.

SchHUSA.QuantumsmlQuantum Canine Extreme makes the cover of December 2010 issue of Schutzhund USA!

This photo was taken of Quantum CE when he was just 6 weeks old by Colby Gwyn-Williams. Quantum CE is from two of Canine Extreme's dogs Denny & Boss.  Quantum was raised with Raul & Colby and trained within their puppy training program.  He is currently 3 years old and working as Police Dog for Aventura Police Department.  We couldn't be more proud of Quantum and all the success of his carear.  He has been in Movies (Marly and Me), the cover of Magazines and works everyday on the streets in the fight against drugs and keeping crime down.  Congrats to Colby & Quatum for the cover of this months catalog!

Drug Arrests In Key Largo - Oct. 16th 2010

Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division arrested two men on drug charges at a home on St. Thomas Avenue in Key Largo Wednesday afternoon.

When Detectives knocked on the door at 271 St. Thomas Avenue, a woman opened it. They asked to speak with the owner of the home. He came out of the bedroom and invited detective’s into the house. He told detectives there was a black male in his bed room and he was scared for his life. Detectives found Milton Collier in the bedroom. The owner told detectives Collier had brought crack cocaine to the house and had placed it under the mattress in the bedroom. He consent to search his residence. Detective’s located two crack cocaine rocks, and $720 dollars in cash under the mattress. A search of the couch where Collier was sitting revealed more crack cocaine. Collier’s car was in front of the house. A Sheriff’s K-9 (Deja Vu Canine Extreme) team searched the outside of the vehicle, and K-9 Deja alerted on it. Inside, detectives located 8 grams of marijuana.
