Bellamy was named after the famed pirate Samuel Bellamy who was best known as "Black Sam Bellamy". Bellamy the pirate made his place in history as the wealthiest pirate of the Golden Age. Known for his generosity & mercy, his crew dubbed him the Robin Hood of Pirates. This was a big name to live up to and one that our Bellamy is doing a fine job at. Bellamy has the ferocity that attracts many people to the working lines. He is strong in his protection, fast and fierce with his obedience and drives. His hunt work is unparalleled and each time he goes to the field to train Bellamy draws a crowd. But for those that know him, those who work with him, he is as kind as they come. Bellamy, from a young age has had a social temperament to die for and heart of gold that beams through his eyes.
The sire to Bellamy, Didi Mihapa, is a Czech imported male with a V rating, IGP1, KKL (lifetime) and DM Clear & HD/ED Normal. Didi's father is a Norbert Aritar Bastet who is SG rated and titled in IPO3 and KKL. Norbert is a Black Sable German shepherd male with large size, good bone structure and stellar work ethics. This comes as no surprize when you look at both of Norberts parents. His father (Didi's Grandfather) is Mic von der Kine who is V rated, SCHH3 and KKL. Mic is just an awesome dog...large build, good movement, dark pigmentation and amazing work ethics. Norberts mother (Didi's Grandmother) is Coletta Antar Bastet who is SG rated and titled in SCHH, ZVV1, FPr1 and KKL. Coletta is a good size female with a nice build, masculine and character. On the mother line to Didi you have some very impressive German Shepherds. First starting with his mother, Qwerta Kedorb, who is SG rated and titled in IPO1 and KKL. Qwerta's father is a very famous male named Gerro Leryka who is V rated and titled in IPO3, SCHH3, FPr2, ZM, ZPU2, ZPO1, ZVV3 and KKL. Just looking at Gerro's titled I don't need to say much more about his work ethic or populartiy. This dog is stunning to look at and as impressive as they come. Didi's Grandmother (through the mother line) is Iris Kedorb who is SG rated and titled in ZVV2, IPO2, SCHH2, ZPS1, FPr3 and KKL. This pedigree and blodline is not only meant to work, they are meant to look good doing it!! That is exactly what we have in Didi and we are so pleased to have him as a part of our program.
Bellamy's mother line begins with Wanda Iveron, a stunning bi-color female imported from Slovakia with an SVV1 title and HD/ED Normal. The father to Wanda is a beautiful dark sable male named Goran Eqidius. Goran is a V rated male who also has his IPO3 and KKL. He has a blocky head, great bone structure, nice pigmentation as well as a great temperament. While still maintaining a clear head, he show outstanding work ethic and intelligence. Goran comes from a powerful and well-structured male named Passat Eqidius who has a SVV1, IPO3, IGP3 and KKL. Passat has a masculine head, nice angles and a solid drives. The mother to Goran is Quela Eqidius. Quela is an outstanding female who has a SVV1 and KKL. She has a deep pigmentation, very nice body structure and a well-rounded work ethic. Wanda's mother-line is one that is very dear to our heart. Her mother, Lea Iveron, is the daughter of Pedro Eqidius (SVV1, IPO3), who is a stunning dark sable male with a tremendous work ethic and temperament. Pedro is the son of the world-famous V Tyson von der Schiffslache (SCHH3 (3 X BSP), IPO3). Tyson is an extraordinarily powerful male who is known for producing top dogs in sport. Tyson has produced countless German Shepherds throughout Europe that were all highly rated IPO3, BSP, etc. Following the mother-line from Lea Iveron, you will find her grandfather, Saturn Eqidius (SVV1, IPO3), who to this day is one of the most impressive and stunning bi-color males we have ever seen. Saturn had a presence to him that was truly unparalleled. He was the son of the WUSV & BSP Champion V Nick vom Heiligenbösch (WUSV 1999, 3°BSP, SCHH3, IPO3, FH1, 2X LG 11 1°PLATZ (1998-1999)). & Nike Eqidius (V rated, SCHH3, IPO3, KKL).
