Fight v. Holtkamper Hof

Description

Fight was an amazing dog who had an astounding number of qualities and traits that made him who he was. Due to his ability to pass down these qualities and having countless titled progeny members, it was clear to see why he had become one of the most sought-after studs in the world. He could brighten up a room wherever he went. Fight left an impression everywhere he went, no matter where he was. We were so honored to have Fight in our home and have him be a part of our family.

In the German Shepherd Dog world, countless dogs train and compete in a multitude of shows, but only a few of them stand out from the rest. While some may attract attention for specific traits like color, workability, or progeny, even fewer possess a combination of these factors. Born on October 13th, 2011, it was clear Fight was one of these dogs from the beginning. Fight snowballed in the show world from a young age, claiming an SG1 title 7 times by the beginning of 2013 and his first V rating at the end of 2013. He continued on this roll for years to come, placing V1 countless times throughout the world and V13 in 2015 & 2016 at the Bundessiegerzuchtschau in Nürnberg. In 2017, he achieved the highly appraised and sought-after title of VA2 at USA Seiger. He left a stamp on the German Shepherd world that will continue for generations.

When Fight was not impacting the German Shepherd world on a grand scale, such as competitions and progeny, he assisted in the background. On a weekly basis, Fight would participate in a Junior handler class with ages ranging from 9 years old to 15 years old. During these classes, the juniors would practice stacking, ring work, obedience, and general tasks that come with being in the ring. The juniors would do all of these tasks, not only with their dogs but Fight as well. The patience, temperament, and clear head that Fight possessed made him an incredible teacher. Most of these juniors have gone on to compete in multiple competitions such as the USA Seiger, stood toe to toe with some of the best, and claimed countless titles.

While Fight was known as one of the world's top producers, only a few knew about his home life. This is where those who got to know him see where he shines the most. People who met Fight fell in love with him and commonly say, "I love his personality." He was a truly happy dog who loved to be with the family. Fight lived at home with other dogs, cats, and even a few chickens. When he was not rolling in the grass, playing ball, picking up giant sticks, going on a car ride, or adventuring around town with us, you would normally find him napping with his friend Cinderella (Cat). The ability to have a home life and a clear head to distinguish between showing, working, and relaxing is a trait that is hard to come by.

We at Canine Extreme were so honored to have Fight in our home. He instantly became not only a part of our team but a wonderful addition to our family. No matter where we went, he was always there with us and always made us smile. The qualities and traits that made Fight who he was also made him a pleasure to be around. We're extremely honored to see them passed down to future generations and create a true legacy. As we like to say here, he is and will always be "The Legend Fight v. Holtkamper Hof."

Peik is a World Champion male from Germany who is titled in VA (BSZS, B & USA), SCHH3 and KKL. He has strong drives to work and very nice overall body type. Peik is the son of a 2X VA champion named Ilbo vom Holtkamper See. Ilbo rated VA2 (N), VA4 (BSZS), IPO3, SCHH3 and KKL. Fights father line is really known for power, size and workability. The mother line to Fight is built from classic German Shepherds out of Germany with nice body style and color. Fight’s mother is Liselotte vom Holtkamper Hof who is V rated (BSZS’11) and titled in SCHH3. Liselotte’s father is a nicely built male named Eddy vom Holtkamper See who is V rated and titled in SCHH2 & KKL. The further you look into Fight’s pedigree the better it gets with many notable dogs such as: Yak vom Frankengold, Wallace aus Agrigento, Negus vom Holtkämper See, Zamp vom Thermodos, Quantum von Arminius, Arko vom Butjenter Land, Flipp von Arlett, & Ghandi von Arlett.

You can see these amazing lines and qualities passed down in his progeny, making Fight one of the most sought-after studs globally. Fights progeny carries on not just one of his stunning and unique traits, but also multiple "wow" factors. We have seen countless SG titles in his progeny, and 26 of them have claimed a V title, while 2 have claimed a VA title. In the 2021 Bundessiegerzuchtschau, the VA2 title was awarded to Asap v. Aldamar, and the VA5 title went to Henko vom Holtkämper Hofin 2019 – both of which are direct sons of Fight.
