Kongo is fully trained in obedience and protection. He is clear headed, well mannered and loves to get down to business in the competition ring. Kongo has rich pigmentation, great confirmation and wonderful gate when he moves out. Kongo's endurance is also unparalleled. For such a large dog where others start to get winded he is just warming up. Kongo is great with kids, cats, other animals and loves to show off his talents and work ethic. As a stud we are excited to say that Kongo truly produces himself. Kongo is known for throwing puppies with massive head structure, rich pigmentation and good work ethic. He produced several litters before heading the USA and becoming renowned for his progeny. Kongo produces dogs that are ideal for the American Family or sport enthusiast. His puppies are very correct, good bone and rich pigmentation. Many of his puppies from the USA are actively competing in AKC events and IPO.

Pedigree

Kongo v.d. Freiheit Westerholt is a V1 rated male who is titled in IPO3, KKL. Outside of being our personal dog Kongo is a large boned male with great structure, wonderful temperament and work ethic. Kongo has a certain type of character that is just out of this world, he has been featured on several TV shows, and is renowned all over for his personality and presence. Kongo is known for throwing dogs that are ideal for just about any field (Sport, Working, Family) the one thing you can always count on in his puppies is clarity. Kongo comes from a long line of World Champions starting with his father who is a 2X VA rated dog our Germany named Chacco v.d. Freiheit Westerholt (SCHH3). Chacco has produced hundreds of puppies all over the world with many of them titled in IPO1-IPO3 and some that are VA rated. Chacco is know for his rich pigmentation and strong character type. He was a sold working dog and always eager to show off his talents. Chacco comes from two powerhouse parents starting with his sire, VA2 Yerom vom Haus Salihin (SCHH3, FH1, KKL). Yerom was a large male which goo bones and very nice movement. Yerom is known for being a top producer in Germany with countless descendants achieving IPO, and V rating at BSZS & LGZS. Chacco’s mother, VA1(NL) Pitty von der Freiheit Westerholt (SCHH1, KKL), is also a national champion female with fairly large body type. Although she didn’t have many litters registered in Germany the puppies that she did have were top quality V, VA and SCHH3.

Kongo’s mother, V(LGZS) Peggy von der Lengernheide (SCHH3, IPO3, KKL) has been a phenomenal producing female for us. This comes as no surprise since she is the daughter to the world famous 3X VA(BSZS’06-’08) Odin vom Holtkämper Hof (SCHH3, KKL). Odin was not only 3xVA rated in Germany but he was also 18X V1 at regular and regional shows. This male is truly top of his class and the epitome of a German Shepherd should be. With more then 100 of his progeny rated in IPO1-3 Odin has also produced 3 VA champions in Germany (VA Guccy vom Heinrichplatz (SCHH3), VA Paul vom Bierstadter Hof (SCHH3, KKL) & VA Ballack zur Worringer Rheinaue (SCHH3, IPO3, RH2, FH1, FH2, KKL). The quality in Kongo’s pedigree just goes on and on with notable names such as: VA2 Yerom vom Haus Salihin (SCHH3, FH1, KKL), VA1(NL) Pitty von der Freiheit Westerholt (SCHH1, KKL), VA2 Odin vom Holtkämper Hof (SCHH3, KKL), VA1(CN) V3 Yak vom Frankengold (SCHH3, KKL) & V1 VA1(DK) Karat's Yoker (SCHH3, IPO3, BHP2, FH1, KKL).
